Sales Specialist – Energy Solutions (Venezuela)

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Specialist to develop and grow customer relationships in the energy sector. You will act as a trusted advisor, identifying commercial opportunities and supporting the delivery of innovative solutions across your assigned territory in Venezuela.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers and act as the primary commercial contact.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive profitable growth.
• Align customer needs with Baker Hughes products, technologies, and services.
• Support negotiations, proposal development, and contract execution.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data in CRM tools.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and service delivery teams to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer developments.
• Participate in commercial reviews, customer meetings, and strategic account planning.
• Support regional growth initiatives and ensure compliance with HSE and commercial policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development within Oil & Gas, Energy, or related industries.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
• Experience working with cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English.
• Willingness to travel within Venezuela and internationally as needed.
• Deep knowledge of the Venezuelan market.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Knowledge of Wireline Services (WS).
