Sales Specialist – Energy Solutions

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Specialist to develop and grow customer relationships in the energy sector. You will act as a trusted advisor, identify commercial opportunities, and support the delivery of innovative solutions across your assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned accounts.
• Build strong, long‑term relationships with customers and act as the primary commercial contact.
• Identify new business opportunities and drive profitable growth.
• Align customer needs with Baker Hughes products, technologies, and services.
• Support negotiations, proposal development, and contract execution.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline data using CRM tools.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and service delivery teams to ensure successful execution.
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer activities.
• Participate in commercial reviews, strategic account planning, and regional growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development within Oil & Gas, Energy, or related sectors.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Fluent Spanish and advanced English.
• Willingness to travel within Venezuela and internationally.
• Experience working with the Venezuelan market and national oil company accounts is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools.
• Knowledge of Pressure Pumping (PP) technologies.
