HVAC Drafter

About the role

We are looking for an HVAC Drafter who will translate engineering concepts into clear 2‑D and 3‑D shop drawings, coordination layouts and fabrication plans. The role works closely with engineers, project managers and construction teams to ensure HVAC systems fit within building constraints and comply with safety and code requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create 2‑D and 3‑D shop drawings, coordination layouts and fabrication plans for ductwork, piping and equipment.
• Coordinate HVAC layouts with architectural, electrical and plumbing drawings to avoid clashes.
• Update drawings based on field changes, site checks and engineer notes.
• Prepare material lists, equipment schedules and as‑built drawings at project completion.
• Verify that designs comply with local building codes and industry standards such as ASHRAE.

Required profile

• Upper‑intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on mechanical drafting or HVAC design experience.
• Associate degree, technical certificate or diploma in drafting, mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication and teamwork orientation.

• AutoCAD (high proficiency).
• Revit and BIM tools.
• Lumion.
• PDF editing software.
• Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets).
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Collaboration tools: Discord, Hubstaff, WhatsApp, Zoom.
