Elixir Developer (Remote)

About the role

BairesDev is looking for an experienced Elixir Developer to join its global remote team. You will work on scalable applications using Elixir and the Phoenix framework, collaborating with top‑tier engineers on high‑impact projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications with Elixir and Phoenix.
• Build and sustain APIs and backend services.
• Develop concurrent and distributed systems.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality.
• Monitor performance and optimise applications.
• Collaborate with team members on technical solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience with Elixir.
• Proven experience building APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of database technologies.
• Advanced knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• Basic IT infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience designing real‑world software modules.
• Proficiency in unit testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced level of English.
