Director of Engineering – Remote

About the role

MonetizeMore is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to lead and scale its global, fully remote engineering organization. You will be responsible for shaping engineering culture, driving technical execution, and designing an organization that delivers high‑volume, low‑latency ad‑tech services.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a diverse remote engineering team, fostering accountability, technical excellence, and psychological safety.
• Design and structure autonomous engineering pods with clear career ladders and succession plans.
• Partner with Product Management to ensure pods operate as cross‑functional teams focused on customer outcomes.
• Oversee architectural integrity, security, and performance of the ad‑tech infrastructure.
• Balance new feature delivery with continuous codebase modernization and technical debt reduction.
• Maintain data‑privacy, compliance, and security standards across all engineering activities.
• Establish core engineering metrics (e.g., DORA, SPACE) and drive AI‑augmented development tools to improve delivery efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior engineering leader in a fast‑moving technology environment.
• Experience managing fully remote, globally distributed teams.
• Strong ability to design organizational structures that promote autonomy and alignment.
• Demonstrated expertise in scaling high‑performance, low‑latency systems.
• Commitment to data privacy, compliance, and security best practices.

Required skills

• AI‑augmented development tools (code assistants, automated testing, documentation agents).
