Caregiver (CNA or HHA) – Senior Care Companion

About the role

We are seeking compassionate caregivers to join our senior‑care team. As a Companion Caregiver you will provide reliable, respectful, and personalized support to older adults, helping them maintain dignity and independence in their daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Offer companionship and engage in conversation to reduce loneliness.
• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, and feeding.
• Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and linen changes.
• Lay out clothing and help clients dress.
• Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals.
• Provide medication reminders and ensure timely intake.
• Transport clients to and from medical appointments.
• Teach family members safe care techniques.

Required profile

• Treat clients with dignity, respect, and compassion.
• Interpret and follow each client’s plan of care.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing situations.
• Tolerance for small pets such as dogs or cats.
• Availability via phone or email for schedule updates and emergencies.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lb.
• Prior experience with dementia patients or senior care is a plus.
